Most owners endure lots of thing because of the love of their dog. But no matter how much we love our pets, we must pay attention to our health. But this woman loved her dog more than her health. Because of that love, she had to say good bye to her life.
Leslie Ann Banks, 53, from Ludlow, Shropshire, is a loving dog owner. Her beloved pet was a Rottweiler named Brannigan. She loved this dog more than her life. She thought about this dog more than she thought about herself. They are like best friends. Sometimes they are like mother and son. Her dog saved her life one day and she loved him immensely.
But one day, Brannigan unexpectedly bites Anne’s hand. But she refused to take treatment for it. Because she thought that it led to the pet being put down. So instead of seeking medical help, she treated it at home with antiseptic wipes and bleach. But the situation at the place where the dog bitten did not improve at all. Within hours it grew even more. The woman eventually succumbed to septi cemia and left life two days later.
He really is a very nice gentle giant. He never did this to her. He loved his owner very much. They really had a wonderful bond. Anne did not seek treatment because she thought that if it came out that Brannigan had bitten her, the authorities would take him away or put him down. In October 2009, Brannigan was nominated for a bravery award after saving his owner’s life when the apartment was filled with smoke.
If he hadn’t stopped her by repeatedly pulling her arm away from her owner that day, her life would surely have been lost. In the end, both their lives were saved.
