Not everyone loves animals equally. Some people do not love animals at all. Innocent animals like dogs and cats are dumped on forest roads due to various reasons. What happens to those animals after that is irrelevant to them. Some people throw the animals away hoping to end their lives. Only heartless people can really do such things. This is another such story.
One day someone threw four Rottweiler-cross puppies into the canal near the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield. The man tossed the puppies in a bag in a bin lined with paving slabs to ensure they wouldn’t escape. But luckily the water in the canal was frozen. The stream turned to ice and the four puppies were barely able to hold on for life. Luckily, a passer-by saw the hammer in the canal and alerted the animal charity and rescue officials. They quickly reached the place within a few minutes.
Then they brought the puppies safely and they were all little puppies of a few days old. And they all were Rottweiler mixed puppies. Luckily they were rescued before hypothermia set in, the RSPCA said. An officer there said that if there was no ice in the canal, the lives of all four would have ended. They looked into who was doing this to the puppies but couldn’t find any proper information.
Perhaps a man threw the puppies into the canal because it was difficult to maintain them. If not, someone else might have thrown it like this for some other reason. However, there is no excuse for throwing away innocent animals like this.
